About Us
Built for the people of Glasgow
TasknDeal was created in Glasgow with Glasgow people in mind. The platform is focused on helping customers across Glasgow find local services, compare offers, and choose the deal that suits them best, while helping local service providers connect with more customers and grow within the community.
Who we are
We're a small Glasgow-based team behind TasknDeal, a new local services platform created to help local service providers get more jobs and connect with more customers around Glasgow.
Our mission
We believe hiring a tradesperson or getting a job done at home should be straightforward. No guesswork, no hidden costs, no chasing people down. TasknDeal puts control back in your hands — whether you're posting a task or offering your skills.
Our story
TasknDeal started in Glasgow with a simple idea: what if finding a reliable local service was as easy as posting a message? We built a platform where customers post tasks for free, service providers compete fairly on price and reputation, and every deal is backed by transparent ratings and secure payments through Stripe.
What we stand for
Three principles guide everything we build.
Transparency
Every profile shows real ratings, completed deals, and red flags. You always know who you are dealing with before you commit.
Fairness
No subscriptions, no lock-in. A small fee applies only when a deal is completed — and you see the exact amount upfront.
Accountability
Both sides rate each other after every task. This keeps the community honest and profiles credible over time.
Join us early
We're currently inviting a limited first group of providers to join. It's quick, easy and free to create an account and service profile. When a customer pays you through TasknDeal, only a few percent is deducted as a platform fee to help us run, support and continue improving the platform.
Joining early can give you an edge over providers who join later by giving you more time to build ratings, profile history and visibility on TasknDeal.
